Vapor barries are the most common product we install. This will meet the needs of most residents in our service area. First we will come and inspect (with pictures so you can see what we see) your crawlspace and see if a vapor barrier will improve the conditions in your crawlspace. When we install, we go above code and use a 10 mil barrier. Then we check for low spaces and puncture the material to avoid water pooling. Finally, we take more pictures so you know the job was done as promised!

While a vapor barrier will meet the needs of most residents in the area, many people choose full encapsulation. Encapsulation involves fully sealing with 10 mil plastic, insulating the crawlspace, and installing a dehumidifer. While encapsulation is more expensive on the front end, it does have several benefits. Encapsulation can raise the value of a home as much as 10% and when properly installed can lower your heating and cooling bills.
